Will samsung galaxy ace ever get android 2.3 update.

Gingerbread isnt the huge update Froyo was - it does bring lots i=of cool stuff, but Froyo is fine as it is mostly

Flash lite functionality was only in 2.1

Android phones normally get notifications in the form of a popup if an update is available in the phone itself... my Android frnd told who uses wildfire...

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your email.

We would like to inform you that this model could not support flash due to limitations. We have not received any
information on the availability of the Android version 2.3 for GT-S5830 at the moment.

They will not do it unless they get requests!

well here is the update called gingerbread

Tsar3000.com and Sam’s Firmware have leaked a Gingerbread ROM for the Samsung Galaxy Ace. The update, which Samsung is developing is for theS5830. It was leaked to commemorate the one year anniversary of Sam’s Android partnership with TSAR3000. But as always, these early beta leaks aren’t perfect and users are advised they take their phones into their own hands when tasking it.
