Root Will setCPU work with rooted phone only?

If my phone is rooted only and not flashed, will setCPU program work with it? Please let me know.

Yes, setcpu needs root to operate.

You'll also need a custom kernel to over clock ect

So I have to flash my phone with custom kernel and ROM then? I thought my phone only need to be rooted only in order to run setCPU.

You can run the app, but you don't be able to change much without kernel support
