Will the GPU be a problem?

I have searched the forum and could not find any similar threads, so i'm making one here.

I have heard the GPU in GALAXY nexus are to be quite low powered. But, will this be a problem, or will it handle games and other apps as good as the SGS2?

Thank's for responding.

galaxy nexus uses the same GPU used in the nexus s, so nothing special.
GLBenchmark - Phone details comparsion

in any case you will not have problems in games, at least, no with the existing games.

Well right but wrong. Will use same GPU but at faster clock speeds. It will be a lot closer to the Mali from the Galaxy 2. Slower but still faster than the rest of the Android phones, still waaaaay behind the A5 unfortunately.

I saw those yesterday but I don't think it does justice. I rather wait for Aandtech to do a benchmark with the right resolution. The Bionic was far ahead from the single core 540 and pretty close to the 220. The OC 540 should be ahead of both and close to the Mali, remember they compare tests with the same resolution.

Don't forget along with the GPU's weakness, it's pushing 2.4x as many pixels. That is gonna hurt. If that GLBenchmark is correct on the Galaxy Nexus, even my 1.5 year-old Captivate is faster - THAT sucks... and the iCrap 4S is gonna obliterate is. We'll have to see. The i4S has just over half the pixels of the Nexus. I'll probably get it because 1) it's faster than my Captivate and 2) 1280x720 HD display., especially #2 :)

in any case the GPU power is more than enough to every things is actually present on the android platform so please don't warry that much.
