Is there any word if Samsung plans on updating the reverb from Ice Cream Sandwich? Or do they have the history of not upgrading their lower-line phones?

samsung has a fairly good track record of updating their phones... but virgin mobile doesn't... plus this phone has a very small user base and is not worth updating for both companies

It's possible, but it all depends on whether Virgin Mobile is willing to do it or not.
