Okay well i want to know how i could start a petition to huawei about getting 4.1.2 or 4.2 just like they did eith htc, im tired of outdated ice cream sandwich, so if anyone would want this or help me start one then that would be perfect! If you feel like i feel then lets grt an update pushed to our phones, thanks!
 
You could try Change.org for a start. I bid you good luck with trying tho. That didn't get the Motion forum anywhere regarding boot loader, and its a very popular handset.

Premia is a great device but due to last 4 crappy phones Huawei sold, nobody trusts the brand name anymore. From what I hear Huawei doesn't release source code for many of their devices, I can't see them releasing a JB update for a handful of Premia owners... But you'll never know until you try right?
 
Well i need more support from people haha but you're right we wont know unless we try,but lets hope they here us premia users out, they're phones are great with the exception of few hah buy if htc listened to its customers why shouldn't huawei
 
NO. They won't listen.
Every Huawei device I've ever owned never got updated before the community built an aosp rom to update if they release one at all. It's like they don't expect you to keep the phone for more than about a year

Don't ask me to reference because I saw this about 2 and a half weeks ago, but I read that Huawei reps said they are absolutely not going to give out a JB update.

They said the same for frozen yougart on the Huawei ascend.

however about a month after aosp gb in the form of cayanogen mod they released froyo
 
You know I'm kind of wondering if Huawei is considering waiting on the KLP release from Google? I mean this phone did only come out in March this year. I've noticed some phones take a lot longer than 7 months for an update.

To me it would also make sense that since this phone is made by a chinese phone company they would know when it comes out ahead of time. The only reason why I say this was every time there was a up and coming update or device they always leaked from China.

Just a thought, I could be completely wrong.. Only time will tell on this.
