Seeing that I already own a Zune hd for my music needs and I have my work phone which i use for everything I think I had a pretty good Idea. Okay so I was on amazon and I found a unlocked android phone my question is could I use this with wifi and just download apps and such and not put in a sim card?

I dont want another phone in short I wanna make this a mobile app player and maybe use googlevoice in my house
 
Yep, you can certainly do that. Only on wifi of course, but you can pretty much do everything except talk on the phone. Which actually, you can using Google Talk over wifi I believe.
 
i think there are a few apps that require mobile network to work.. but i general.. you are good to go.
