WiMax shut down forever.manager

I live in the Chicago area and use the Epic Touch. As of today they discontinued WiMax here. I had to wheel and deal to get out of my contract so I could get a phone that uses the new LTE. Sprint wasn't helpful at first but a manager finally agreed to it. Tomorrow I go to Sprint to pick up a new Galaxy 3 phone.

Congrats! At least you had wimax... I bought a 4G phone in an area with no 4G.

Not so fast......WiMax had some problems in the Chicago area yesterday and Sprint was telling people that it was turned off. Sprint started giving offers to users of WiMax until that ended this afternoon and yes WiMax is back on.
