Win 7 Mobile

Zune is a dud? Ever used one Buddy...?

While I haven't touched my blue 32 GB Zune HD since I got my Droid, I'm still a Zune fan at heart. But even I realize that the Zune was a pretty big flop. Microsoft has already dropped the price considerably on the product. There is no third-party application store for it. As much as I told myself that didn't matter initially... well, it does. The best thing that ever happened to the Zune HD was Audiosurf... and that only kept me interested until the Droid.

You hear nothing in the news about the Zune, except for now with the Windows Mobile 7 stuff. It's a shame, really. The Zune HD is a beautiful device -- much nicer physically than an iPod Touch, as far as I'm concerned. Plus, you could get it in blue. Epic, to say the least. But the fact of the matter is that no matter how much you like it, or how much I like it, financially and marketshare-wise, it was a flop.

I'm not taking Apple's side or anyone else's here. Again, I'm a big Zune fan myself. But come on. I'm just calling the shots as I see them.

im sure many of us will.

any os that can take thatkind of leap is worth supporting.

I know I'll be getting one, I've been bugging MS for almost two years now for them to come out with a ZuneHD phone.

if your talking reliability, then sprint should be the forerunner here. they have the most reliable 3g network(tested by 3rd parties such as pcworld) and the first to 3g as well as 4g. and it seems att is the "chosen" carrier for reasons unknown, as while the winmo7 platform will hit all major carriers, microsoft openly blessed att as a "premier partner". so your argument is flawed, twice. and lets add a third one. sprint also gives you more bang for your buck, so when is comes to value, sprint is another one up.

I wasn't arguing, I started out giving my opinion just like others think it will flop "like the Zune" or "because it is ugly." My opinion is that VZW is a key component to its success along with good support of its XNA (which you suprisingly don't see fit to try to argue about.) I still like the way the interface looks. I hope it goes over well. The only one arguing, is you.

Sprint!? That is more of a joke than anything you've ever posted. What part of "history of reliabilty" did you not get? Sprint still is no bang for any buck. Out here, it is more of a snap. Saying that AT&T has been blessed makes my argument flawed... Google has rained all sorts of blessings down on Tmobile, yet they are still pathetic. A more compliant carrier speaks nothing about reliability. AT&T was blessed by Apple yet is still dumping a lot of money into their network to compete NOW, not in the future.

Pointing out how flawed my speculations are with even more nonsense is turning this discussion into a battle of who is the bigger idiot and I am more than willing to concede the field to you as the winner.

seems your letting your emotions get the best of you. sprint bashing is a fad, and they have always had the best network. especially data wise. the only reason verizon comes close now is thier recent aquisition of alltel. so keep your overpriced 2nd in performance network. ill stay with the 3rd party studies that have ranked sprint #1 since its inception.

on just an observation of mine, it seems people who overpay for the same or lesser product seem to like bashing the competition depsite not having *any* factual evidence. oh well. if they need to validate where thier benjamins go so be it. i know im getting a better deal, better network, and if people cant listen to reason, then so be it.
