Windex on screen?

I wouldn't recommend it. If you really need to use something wet, a light mist of screen cleaner (like you would use for a flat screen tv or monitor) on a microfiber cloth should do. A dry microfiber is fine most of the time for me.

If your screen is glass and no plastic covering it _shoud_ be ok. Windex (ammonia) is actually a pretty harsh chemical and will soften plastic and anti glare coatings on glass. I've quit using windex and any ammonia based for the more treehuggery cleaners.

I'm with Gmash. Try a microfibre cloth - it works fine for me.

If you do really need something liquid, then screen wipes or the sprays used for glasses are probably the best bet.
