Help Windows 8 USB Driver

I have downloaded the drivers straight from the Samsung website. I cannot get my windows 8 laptop to recognize the phone. Any suggestions?

im not sure if the current samsung drivers work for the schr-720 but try this: http://tinyurl.com/indulgederiversschr720

Note: uninstall the drivers you installed from samsung first if you can.. those are tested to work with SCHR-720 on windows 7 and below (the link i gave you).. try it and tell me if it works for 8 and you will also be doing me a great favor

Driver does not work on windows 8 unfortunately just tried it. Does anyone know any other ways to get a driver for Samsung admire on win8?

Can you access the phone utility. Or know cmd on your local computer or laptop . this would required your manual input.

By phone utility you mean Kies? I don't have that downloaded but I don't think that would give me a driver. I think it only helps you manage music, photos, ect. As far as cmd goes I don't know a lot about it, but if I had a tutorial I could probably figure it out.

Lol. No not kies . no not Odin . I was referring to the test mode on the phone aka utility.

Never mind I believe I got driver working now I found a win 8 version in a different location on samsungs website.
