So I've been toying with this idea for a while after dealing with a playing a full screen game and playing Itunes etc in the background. Wouldn't it be nice to have the windows mixer on your phone? It isn't too hard to tap the Windows API. I made a quick proof of concept to make sure you could actually manage the volumes on windows easily enough.
I'll be happy to develop the windows side of the application, including the networking code to connect the app with the computer, etc. But I don't know the first thing about android application development.
So if some app developer wants to make an app with me, I'd love to partner up and make this happen!
I went ahead and attached the proof of concept I built to make sure it was possible, I was thinking an interface like that for the app, or maybe just a list of sliders with a device selector dropdown. It may work on vista, and it should work on Windows 7. Written in C#, so you'll need the .NET runtime environment (which I believe ships stock with Windows 7). It shouldn't come up on a virus scanner, so don't open it if it does

Max
