Help windows live messenger problem

hello.
just bought a x10 mini and realized that my application WL Messenger has a problem.
when it starts says "from 3:sorry we're unable to connect you to WLMessenger".
does it happens with some of you? I use Ebuddy but I like to have it allways on... as Google talk does... and I was hopping WLMessenger would do the same thing.
please help!

PS- tried to find it on Market but there's no original version.
can I find it to download anywhere (I've not found it).

My son put HiMSN on my phone so he could use it when we were out and about. He seems to like it. I am not really an MSN person but its a freebie from the market so could be worth you giving it a go and seeing if it has the functionality that you want.

There is another one but for the life of me I can't remember what it is... if it comes to me in a blinding flash of inspiration I will come back and edit.

Edit... Just looked on my searched apps in the market and its Nimbuzz. Again don't use it but heard it recommended.
