Help Windows xp usb driver

Just got this phone today and i love it! Unfortunately my windows xp machine didn't recognize it when i plugged the phone into it to copy some files onto it. So i would really appreciate a driver download! Thanks.:)

Tried it. Followed the directions. Didn't work. Got a "cannot install hardware" message. My desktop does this with every usb device but usually works if i download the driver.

Try this,
Go to System Settings,Development options and check the box for USB Debugging.
Try what Donjuro said too.

After uninstalling then reinstalling my usb drivers and trying your suggestions i got it to work...kinda. But when i try to browse through the folders on my phone through my pc they all appear to be empty, and i wanted to move some files from my phone to my computer as well. Any suggestions?

By the way, thank you all very much for your timely and helpful suggestions!

When i do that, my computer doesn't even recognize my phone, or at least it doesn't appear under My Computer. I'm not sure if it matters but the phone uses something called ADB to connect to my PC and appears as an MTP device.

I suspected you would say that, I don't have an xp machine anymore. I just gave it away. Is it up to date with service packs? XP is 10 years old so mickysoft doesn't support it anymore. I will research it some more.

Yes it is fully up to date and yes my card is mounted. Whenever i plug the phone in, 2 things appear under My Computer: ZTE MTP Device - Phone and ZTE MTP Device - SD Card (notice thst neither were assigned a drive letter) I can place files onto the phone with ease but when i try browsing any folder on the phone, no files appear, even if there are several in the folder.

Ok the Join Me program seemed to be what I'm looking for... but it's the most glitch-filled program I've ever used. It won't close no matter how many times i click the X or click on "exit" in the task bar, it crashes whenever i try to search for something, and whenever i try exporting something to my desktop it says i have no free space when i have plenty.
