Bought my first smartphone fairly recently, Oct. 09. It was an HTC Imagio and I enjoyed tweaking, customizing, etc. But when Microsoft abandoned WinMo 6.5 to start from scratch, I didn't like the locked-down appearance of Windows Phone 7 and began to consider getting an Android phone.
I was still happy with HTC and Verizon, so wanting to replace just the OS part of the equation made it an easy decision. The Incredible.
I figure I'll stick with stock for a month or so before I start tweaking just so I can get a feel for what I like and what I don't.
