Root Wipe phone, maintain root?

Selling my phone tomorrow. Need to wipe it clean, but want to retain root.

Running stock rom. Do I just bootstrap reboot and wipe?

formatting will not remove root, so you can do whatever you want

yeah you can do that, or you can do it from the phone itself, its all up to you on how you factory data reset
