Wipeout deno mode?

I bought a new Galaxy s7 edge from someone not realizing that it was stuck in demo mode from the old retailer. I called and they told me it wasnt stollen and I was ok to keep it but the guy didnt know how to get it out of demo mode? Is it even possible to do? If I'm out of my money I'm going to be upset but if its possible to fix and be able to use, then it will be what makes my whole year as the guy who sold it to me, did so not knowing it's TRUE value. Please help

Is it showing a circled R in the notification area?

Retail demo version Samsungs, there's absolutely nothing you can do with them, that's it. Basically they're locked bootloader, and loaded with demonstration firmware that always goes into attract mode.

It likely was stolen, because the retailer is supposed to return them to Samsung after they're finished with.

But all I'm seeing from that site is this.

Enter your email, of course there's absolutely no way I'm doing that.

If you got other problems, contact the manufacturer of your phone or tablet.
