Wireless charging back

In my very short research it looks like there isn't one. The only inductive charging solution I can find for the GS3 is Palm Pre mods (taking the charging setup from the pre and using it on the GS3).

Whats weird about this is there are a couple pins on the inside of the phone that look like they would connect to an inductive charging battery cover.

I know. I've been looking everywhere but someone at Verizon told me that there was one out there. I just can't find it lol

Verizon is the only carrier that offer Wireless Charging Stock. You would need to make sure your S3 has the connection for it to connect as they all don't. There is a Video where a member converted his S3 to use the Verizon Wireless Back, don't remember which post though.

So if Verizon offers this why can't I find it on their site? I'm not trying to say you're wrong, it only makes sense that they would offer this since the verizon version of the phone has the connectors for it, but I just can't find it anywhere and would really love to have it.

I looked at those links in the post above mine but that setup seems pretty expensive.

QI wireless charging is expensive in general but the price will eventually fall when more manufacturers adopt it.

The charging plate alone for my Nokia 920 cost

Well the case I just bought for my s3, which is the Verizon shell case says works with inductive back door

I recently purchased a setup to wirelessly charge my S3 and have been using it for the past two weeks with excellent results. The great thing about this setup is that you can continue to use the phone's stock backing plate. Which means that the phone stays just as slim as it was before and allows you to keep your same case (assuming you use one) and it also doesn't interfere with docks and such. I purchased the components off of ebay for a total of $50, which isn't too bad.

I'm using a Nokia DT-900 wireless charging pad (purchased used for $37) and a Qi receiver (purchased new for $13).

The Qi receiver has the ability to be taped to the battery, but since the receiver fits snuggly once the backing plate is snapped into place, I opted not to use the tape. This is primarily because I sometimes use a back-up battery and would like to continue to swap them out with ease. The receiver also does not impede being able to use an AC adapter or car charger, so that's not an issue.

I suspect if anyone else goes with this setup, they'll be as pleased as I am.

Here is a write up on it. Appears to have been short lived.
Wireless Charging Kit for Samsung Galaxy S3 hits Verizon stores

About a week ago my phone was connected to the wall charger at a friends place and when I picked it up there was a pop up on the locked screen about wireless charging. I don't have a wireless charger and can't seem to reproduce the message. Maybe someone in the apartment below had something cool that I don't know about.

If one wanted to add one of those things to an extended battery, I suppose he'd need to find a way of extending the terminals. 2mm of 20AWG ought to do it :D

The back of the case may also need modification by adding something to maintain pressure on the terminals. I think I'll pass for now. I see this as being standard equipment in a few years...and a stock feature.
