Wireless Charging for my S4

So, I have some questions about the capabilities of wireless charging on my GS4. First one would be, is there any specific charging pads that are high and above the others that you guys could recommend that aren't to expensive? I was looking at the official Samsung one for my phone, but I really don't want to have to buy the back that makes the phone bigger. So do any of you have any pointers on the cards that slip on to the phone under the original backing and what makes some better then others, and which pads they work with? Sorry I'm so clueless.

What crand was the charging pad? Would the pad still work with a heavier case such as an otterbox or dualtekk on the phone? Does the charging receiver charge the phone at a normal rate or slower then the regular charger? And does the receiver make the phone any bigger?

what exactly makes some of them different from the others? And for anyone else from the U.S. are there any good pads?
