I have the Note 5 with a otterbox symmetry case (isn't that thick at all) and teh samsung galaxy wireless charging pad.

EDIT: Actually I got it to charge with the case. I just had to find the sweet spot I guess.

You should be OK,Samsung phones (from my experience) have superior wireless charging capabilities,especially the sealed models (Galaxy S6/Note5 & newer).....
However,I'd give OTTERBOX a holla,no info on the FAQ's:

Depends how thick your case it. I'm able to charge mine with it's case on. I have not tested if it charges faster/slower with it off.
