Wireless data isn't working

Voice and WifFi are working but not wireless data. Is there some way to troubleshoot whether the problem is on my end or with the carrier?

It is a N1. I rebooted it and it is fine now.

I was going to say, you probably haven't power cycled, or else that would have fixed it.

I am having the exacly same problem for some months now... the problem its not with the carrier, i have just checked with them.
Can anyone help me? I have a G1, firmware 1.6
