Not really. Though I do work at Target, perhaps that for a first option, just for the convenience. If not, that's fine. I really do not care what store I'd have to go to, haha. Or if I have to order it online only, that is also fine.
That one looks promising. If you are chums with anyone in the audio electronics department, see if they can find one that you can "try before you buy."
I am guessing your car is in the parking lot while you are at work...try one while on break\lunch...
Hey, I'm updating my situation here -- today at Target I bought an a 3.5mm (1/8) iCable it was called, and I replaced my FM transmitter's cable with it -- the new cable works. Whatever the cable was the FM transmitter used must not have been appropriate for my phone.
I actually did buy this exact same cable before, back when I meant to use it as a direct input from my phone into my car stereo aux port, but didn't realize my car does not have an aux port, hence why I eventually had to resort to getting a FM transmitter. Should have kept the cable rather than returning it for a refund.
Another semi-related question: Is it possible to make my phone louder? I have its media volume maxed as well as my car stereo volume, but regardless of it still isn't really that loud. I know it's the phone because my previous phone was able to be way louder. Are there any like apps that would boost the phone's volume or something?
This is from almost five years ago, and he did post that he solved his original problem. Plus after all this time he most likely doesn't have that phone any more. And if you look at his profile you'll see that he hasn't been on the forums since 2015.
