First off, welcome to the site :hello: !

Have you tried just rebooting your device? I had a WiFi problem with my Gnex this morning and a reboot fixed it.

good luck

Using WPA2, or something else?

What wireless router are you using? I'm having the same issue with my GT2 with my Comcast wifi router, and from what I've read, that's pretty common, those two don't play well together. One tip I read was to connect to the router using the Allshare Play app, seems to clear up some kind of IP argument on the device. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

Oh, and I'm sure the problem is with the Comcasr wifi router/modem. I tried using a FoxFi wifi tether yesterday a few times, and never one had a connection issue, so the wifi hardware on the GT2 seems to be working fine.

often times this is more of a router issue.... typically a router reboot will fix the problem

also as someone mentioned the WPA2 can have trouble negotiating at times......... if a simple reboot doesnt fix the problem........ try turning the security off then reboot the router....... let it connect........ then turn security back on and reboot the router again......... be sure to change the phone settings accordingly during each connect

but as I said........ typically just a simple router reboot will fix the issue of negotiation

I've never had an issue with my tab and WPA2, I thought the OP might be trying to use WEP, which won't work.

I should have been clearer about that in my first response.

Reset my Comcast wifi router last night, and seems to have taken care of the problem I was having. But the first day and a half I had my GT2, I didn't have any problems either, so I'm cautiously optimistic that this is a permanent fix, and hoping I won't have to hit the reset button on the router every couple of days.

Oh, and I went to try the Allshare Play method I read about, but my Tab doesn't even have that app, so that was clearly useless advice I picked up, lol!
