So the G2 has Wireless storage ability. The phone connects to the wifi network without any issue, but it doesn't seem to be recognized as a device in my windows network map, so I can't use this ability apparently (won't connect with "\\ipaddress" in my browser). My desktop and laptop and printer show up, phone won't. Anyone had this issue with this phone or any others? All the other threads I've read say how easy the wireless storage connection is to set up and use, and I flat out can't get my home network to recognize the phone.
I've updated router firmware, reset router, turned off all firewalls, etc. Other devices never have a problem showing up or sharing files. Am I missing a setting on my phone to make it recognizable? I'm actually less annoyed that I have to continue to use a cord than I am about not being able to get this to work.
Airdroid seems to work....so with an external app I can go wireless. Still not what I want though!
