Help Wireless Tether Issues

I'm having problems accessing web pages with Wireless Tether. I'm rooted and running OMJ's ROM. I'm using Wireless Tether Version 2.0.6 (came with the OMJ rom). I can connect to my secured wifi SSID with my laptop but when I try to access a website via my web browser on my computer, nothing loads. USB debugging is checked "on". Help!

What security are you using? Also, have you verified that you have wifi off, and the phone is either connected via 3g or 4g?

Wifi is off. It doesn't work with either 3G or 4G.

What do you mean by security? I turned on the wifi encryption if that's what you're asking.

I got it to work with without encryption (with all the default settings). However, when I enable the WPA2-PSK encryption and reconnect I get the "Server not found" error in Firefox.

I'm running this version of Wireless Tether (2.0.5 Pre9).

EDIT!!! NEVERMIND! I got it to work! I'm so dumb. While I had Access-Control enabled, when my computer connected I didn't authorize my laptop manually when it tried to connect. It works great! Thanks for all your help.
