First off longtime no see lol, I have a problem. I flashed cm7 yesterday and when I restored my apps my wireless tether wouldn't install so I dl the latest wifi tether app in the play store for rooted phones and I still couldn't connect. I found a weblink with instructions to change my profile to generic ics and it went on talking about enabling mapping and router settings etc whatever none of it worked I even boot into recovery and fix permissions Nada smh. I dl foxfi it didn't work as well but it gave me a msg that htc has blocked wifi tether apps wth? Is this true? A better question would be am I stuck without wifi tether? That's my life I'd rather flash back to mikshifted if this problem can't be solved I give my thanks in advance

Foxfi is blocked for HTC devices.

I put MikRunny on my wife's Shift and wifi tether works perfectly. Sorry, I am not familiar with the CM7 Roms on the Shift so I am not sure what you would need to do.
