Root Wireless tethering for Root Users

I downloaded a Wireless Tethering app for Root Users on my Droid RAZR and I thought maybe I should learn a little more about it before I proceeded. I'm not sure I quite understand what the "Root Users" thing is about? Is this something for more advanced users or what exactly does this mean? If anyone could help me with this I would appreciate it. Is there anything special I need know or do before I install this? I was wanting an app I could use as a WiFi Hotspot Booster & this one had the best rating but I don't know much about the Root thing...? Doolittle63

"Root" is admin rights on a phone :)
It allows you do tons of stuff backup your phone and apps use certain apps I.e wireless tether, titanium backup etc. Install customs roms and all that
