Help Wireless tethering stopped working on Galaxy Prevail

So yeah, rooted my Samsung Galaxy Prevail with one click root, got the wireless tethering app and it was working great, then just two days ago it stopped working. Re-installed binaries and what not, still nothing. Just wanna use it for my ipod touch. I see the wifi symbol appear but no connection. I'm a newb when it comes to smartphones so take it easy on me.

why not just use Barnacle? works without a hitch for me, just wish it would do infrastructure. My wife's phone will make calls over wifi if no service available and we live in a black hole for cell service. It won't recognize ad-hoc though only infrastructure.

Oh nm just saw the link for infrastructure I'll have to check that out.

Barnacle does not read as a true "HotSpot" that can be recognized by ALL devices (Play Stations , etc.) . The link provided above can remedy that if that is what you seek . If not , Barnacle or Wireless Tether for Root Users(non-Beta) will do . :)
