i was wondering if it is possible to attain wireless tethering via bluetooth using lg spectrum? i am aware (mostly thanks in part to this forum ) that this phone supports wifi tethering. i also understand that wifi seems to drain the battery quite fast, and apps like FoxFi also provide ability to tether over bluetooth. i could not find any info regarding this topic, so i was hoping if perhaps someone could touch upon it, as well as describe benefits/drawbacks of tethering over bluetooth vs wifi. thank you!

Without any real knowledge on the subject, one could expect a little lower battery usage, as BT is a low power wireless system, and significantly lower range, I'd expect useful wireless speeds at a range of 18" or less.
I tried using BT for wireless file transfers 4 years ago and got 8KB/s data rates, but BT 2.0 was a new thing back then and I doubt the device I was using had 2.0. That was at a range of 3"
