Wireless USB Headphones Question

OK Let me explain the situation. I want to buy a pair of gaming headphones that I can use to play games and talk on vent at the same time, which bluetooth currently cannot do AFAIK its one or the other. So that leaves wireless USB.

Having said this, it would be nice if the same headset could be used on my EVO through the micro usb, perhaps using this adapter:

Amazon.com: Pro-Techgroup USB A Female to Micro B Male - converts the USB A male…

My question is, do you think this will work correctly or is the MICRO USB just for charging and plugging in? I get the feeling it would need to install drivers or something. Also, I realize I could get a pair of wired headphones to do plug into the top but the whole purpose is to have wireless. Any thoughts/suggestions?

No, it will not work with the USB port. The USB would need to have host support (for "hosting devices") in order to do this, and then there would need to be drivers in Android.

OK well if this is not an option, would I be able to buy a wired gaming headset with an audio and microphone in and get an adapter to plug that into my phone? The 3.5mm jack works for audio and microphone right?
