More than assuming Google would allow sprint to alter the OS on a phone thats whole point is to remain straight up Google? The nexus line is touted as "Google experience" that includes tethering and internet calling. Take that away and its just another android phone. Why would they alter sprints yet leave tmo and att alone?
When I got the nexus s 4g a big deciding factor for me was the free tethering and hotspot but the tethering is useless in my opinion its like dial up but I got a USB wireless n wifi adapter for bout 50 dollars for a good one works great no issues very easy to install just need to setup the security in the settings for the app nothing like free internet although I wish I would have waited for the Motorola photon strictly cause of the HDMI output but the nexus isn't loaded with carrier bloatware its a vanilla Android and that I love
