A long time ago ... well maybe not so long ago... the only way to sync your outlook email was to plug in your phone to USB or use Verizon Wireless Sync services. The wonderful thing about using the wzw sync is that it pulled the email straight off of the exchange server and relayed contacts, email, calendar items etc... straight to vzw's sync server. The windows mobile phone, using activesync, then pulled the mail down to the phone. Of course everything worked in reverse as well. This little program ran on a PC within the company domain and basically allowed us to get our mail without having to have a VPN connection to each phone.

Windows mobile has long been gone. Now for the reason to my post. Our domain is now locked down entirely. Android, Windows, iphones are now outlawed. Blackberry is now the chosen phone. Many are not happy. Verizon's service would again solve this issue if it was set up to work with today's phones. Question is: are any services like this around?
