Wondering about the Epic

I put a post up on craigslist wanting to trade my evo for a epic. I got the evo the day it came out then had some problems with it nothing major and kept going to the Sprint store and eventually they let me pick out what phone I wanted so I picked the Epic. I had it for a week had to have it replaced 4 times and just went back to the evo. Well anyways I just got a email back from someone about trading and I just got on the forums here and looks like ALOT more problems than before. Should I keep my Evo or should I still trade it for the Epic? The Evo is just fine for me its great I just get bored with phones after while, 5 months with 1 phone is long for me lol and Im eligible for upgrade so Evo 3d for me in a few months but just till then.

4 Epics in a month, yikes!!! What were the issues that you were/are having with the Evo? What were the thoughts of the Epic when you had it?

Ultimately, only you can decide which is better for you. We'll all be happy to assist with our own opinions though! :D

With the Evo it was only a few minor problems I think 1 was I was sometimes in KC when I live here in Iowa, I dont remember every little thing what was wrong with the Evos I had problems with and Im pretty sure I exaggerated a lil to the Sprint reps to try to get a Epic ha I just wanted something different. But the last problem I had with the Epic was just one day it shut off and would not turn back on the charge light stayed on and it was off the charger for 20 mins if that. I LOVE the Epic screen and wanna go back to it for a few months

I've had the EVO since I signed up with Sprint in October and I've loved every minute of it. I've head both good and bad things about the Epic. I once saw Samsung's entry into the Android phone market as a good thing but no longer see them as a blessing. I haven't seen the screen on the Epic but I hear that the AMOLED is amazing. That being said, I would stick with the EVO seeing as how it's a more stable phone than the Epic. It's just not worth the frustration of changing your phone just for the nice screen if it has major problems that prevent you from using it.

hi eric...

i dont think there is a right answer to your question. based on your flip flopping ...

i would suggest you stick with the EVO.. and look into making it more to your liking... with ROOT and Custom ROMS.. themes... etc...
EVO's biggest advantage is the development support!!!

Lol

Well, go back to it then. :p

They are both awesome phones and you'll probably be happy either way (and if not, it's only for a few months ;) ).

Keep the Evo. I'm on my 15th Epic, in 8 months, and I've just about had it!
