Help wont install apk's

just recently got a nexus 10 and soon realised flash wasnt working. however i cant hack the device as i cannot install apks. i can download them but on running the install button does not respond to input. i tried two different apk (flash player and hacked dolphin browser) there is no antivirus i know of (stock rom) and the security settings allow unknown sources. the software version is 4.4.2

is there a bug or has google stopped apk installs all together?

Good to hear it works. You're really playing with fire there, since the apps are modified/hacked and could contain malicious code or destabilize your OS.
