Won't show Thai language, help pls

For some reason my wife's S4 will not show any Thai language characters. One day they just disappeared. It just shows blank spaces where the characters should be. It is the same whether it's an app or email or internet. Has anyone had this problem, and how can I fix it? We tried a reset, didn't work. Retailer where we bought it can't help, carrier couldn't help... Any help would be appreciated!

I would have moved your post to the appropriate S4 forum, to see if someone in it could help you with that problem, but there are many and I don't know which is for you.

So your S4 originally had Thai and now it doesn't, that's rather unusual. Did it have a software update, also is it rooted? What country are you in and where was the phone purchased? Just trying to think of reasons why it would suddenly lose a language like that. Language fonts are at the system level, and for them to be deleted AFAIK the phone has to be rooted. Or possibly a manufacturer's software upgrade took out the Thai support.
