Help Won't stay on Silent/Mute!!!

I am not sure what is going on .. I have had this phone since November, all of the sudden it will not stay on silent/vibrate ... i have changed it several different ways .. by the volume rocker/settings/mini menu in notification window .. everything .. it will be silent once maybe and then the notifications start again .. i just don't understand why all of the sudden it is doing this.

Anyone else? Help

I have exactly the same problem. Had it for months and have never found a solution.

In desperation I use an app called Silence where you can set profiles dependent on time\day to turn off sound\wireless etc. Overnight I put in airplane mode to stop any texts\phone calls waking me up. Not a great solution but only one that works.

I've tried complete factory reset and re flashing but nothing seems to work!

Would be great if anyone has any suggestions.

none ... i have after the fact to try to fix it but that doesn't help either, it still changes and makes sound .. i have since deleted tho and still same.

Not to start with - but I now use Silence which puts my phone in flight mode overnight and puts phone on silent.

poweramp is one app that can cause this. specifically the option for a beep when you press the headphone button.
