Help Won't turn on!

Well, about 2 days ago I lost the charger that came with my phone. So today I went and bought a replacement micro-USB cable. I also bought a cigarette-lighter to USB adaptor, and a wall-to-usb adaptor.

The phone was pretty flat already, but I was playing some music on it and charging it from the cigarette lighter at the same time, and I pressed one of the volume buttons on the side and it just died. Refuses to turn on.

When I got home, I put it on the wall-to-usb charger, and there was a red light at the top-right for about 10 minutes, and then that went away. Now there's nothing at all, and it won't turn on. I have tried plugging it directly into a computer, and still nothing.

Anyone got any ideas?

Have you tried removing the battery and then try and restart?

I have used several chargers and cables with my Ideos and they all work fine.

Hi everyone.

I've just got the same phone (Ideos U8150) about two weeks ago. The battery started getting really poor the last couple of days, literally lasting a couple of hours and after it dying at lunchtime today, I can't even get it to power up now. When I plug it in, I get a red led light in the top right corner. This light comes on when the phone's plugged in with or without the battery inserted. It's the same light whether I have the phone plugged into my laptop or the a/c adaptor. Any ideas of what's wrong and how to get my phone working?

im w/ the same problem, but in addition, I bought the phone yesterday. I went to bed, the battery it was full, all the battery eaters (wifi, bluetooth, gps, push, etc) was off, so, surprisely this morning the phone it as dead, not turning on n now im calling to huawei, but they didnt work on weekends n reading forums n forums, but for this question, I didnt found n solution. What I should do instead of throwing in the trash?

Bummer, but if you bought it just yesterday and its faulty can't you take it back for a replacement? Or was it second-hand, not bought at a shop?
