Help Wont Turn On

Hi, I was listening to pandora with this phone at the gym then dropped it about 3 feet to the ground.

It turned off completely and wont turn back on again.

The light on the top right wont turn red / green / or even on.

I ordered a new battery that comes next week cause I didnt want to pay for expensive amazon 1 day shipping.

Just making this thread to make sure I have dont every thing correct.

The screen isnt cracked at all. Its just this phone has been my baby and I dont want to get another.

Also I did try taking the battery out for a full 24 hours to reset everything and that didnt do a thing. I've tried plugging in the battery for 24 hours as well.

Even when plugged in the lights on the top right dont turn on.

I've dropped it more and harder than just 3 feet but never had this happen.

Comments welcome as I wait a week for my replacement battery from Amazon.

Sorry to be the one to say it, but I don't think it's the battery that's bad. Sounds more like a broken motherboard.

I am using another phone at the moment that was free with purchase of another service card. The battery off Amazon didnt work its charm.

Thanks for your reply. I think the motherboard is fried as you suggested. Wondering if its worth fixing under warranty. The phone was only $99 last March from RadioShack closeout.

If your phone is less than a year old, call Virgin Customer Service. They will send you a refurbished phone at no charge, with a shipping envelope to ship back the broken one.

Get a new phone from VM if it's less than a year old.. I don't think they'll check in detail what happened to it. If it's over a year old, I'd use that as an excuse to get a newer, better phone.
