Root Won't work after Reset

bought an Incredible from a friend and I wanted to do a factory reset so I could have my information on the phone. Once I did reset. Phone will come on, gets past HTC white screen, but stops at Android and just flashes every few seconds. I think I've tried everything. Verizon is no help. Any help is appreciated.

Don't know much about the phone. Just know that it is a HTC incredible

This is the wrong forum. You have posted in the HTC Incredible S forum which is a GSM world phone, not a CDMA phone for Verizon. You either want the Droid Incredible forum or the Droid Incredible 2 forum.
