Wont work

ii have a zte merit tmobile but i left it in a drawer for a long time and i turned it its working but it wont get past the at&t symbol before turning off again i tried to to charge for like a week it still does that. Would it help if i got a new battery?? please help thanks

Sounds as if it would.

Then fully charge the battery before turning the phone on. Run the phone until it urns off (or complains that you have to plug the charger in. Fully charge and discharge it 3 times. Then you can charge it whenever you like.

If you're going to store it for a long time, run it down to about 50% of charge first.

(I have phones that sit in drawers for a year or two, but still work when I turn them on. Anyone want an analog phone without GPS? It can't be used any longer, but the battery is still good.)
