Woo! Got a certain text from T-Mobile yesterday!

Well, I got a text saying they were packing up Note 7 pre-orders this weekend and will start shipping! It still says the delivery will be "by 8/19", but it history is any indication, pre-order folks should get it a day or two early!

I assume you are with Verizon? I got the same texts from them today. Charged my card, and received my order. They will send a text with tracking info when shipped. Clearly behind T Mobile I guess.
 
I got a text with my tracking number today! But, there's no expected arrival date. How awesome would it be if it really WAS set for tomorrow?
 
UPS still shows estimated delivery as Monday, 08/15/2016, but it also shows the phone in Louisville, KY, waiting to be picked up by UPS. Maybe I'll get the phone on Tuesday.

Yep, same here. It's still possible they're actually out and the system just hasn't updated, but I'm more expecting tomorrow now.
 
Mine shows shipped finally this morning and I have a FedEx tracking number. The big question is how can it take 5 days to get from Memphis, Tn to Birmingham, Al? My delivery date shows on FedEx as Friday!

Maybe Samsung has told carriers that there are to be no more deliveries of pre-orders prior to the official release date so pre-orders are ready for shipment but are being held until Thursday and then shipped overnight.
 
I got my shipping info 2 days ago. My phone has been in PA both days, and I live in PA. Says something about ''future delivery requested''. My estimated delivery date is the 18th.

So, yeah... I'm thinking Verizon told them not to deliver them yet. Otherwise I should have gotten it today or tomorrow.
 
Still no update on shipping/tracking from T-Mobile, for me. As long as I have the phone by Thursday or Friday, I'll be fine, so crossing my fingers I'll get another update within the next couple days.
 
You all are lucky. Still haven't heard anything about mine yet. Hoping I get some sort of email soon.

I visited my local bestbuy and played with the note 7 they had on working display. Man its super nice. Way better than previous models in think.
 
I got my tracking number email, it says it's already shipped, I am hoping it gets here early, but I will take Friday if that is what it is. Can't wait to have this phone!

I've never done a T-Mobile pre-order before, so I haven't experienced the early shipments that I've seen talked about on past flagship phone orders, but I do remember being very envious of many T-Mobile customers that would get their devices a few days prior to the official release date. Considering that it's overnight shipping, I'm fine if I don't hear/receive any confirmation until the 18th. While I'd love to be lumped into the early shipment crowd, I just need to get it before I leave out of town.
 
Looking at my tracking info, it was updated today, for a second time saying "picked up, future delivery requested". So now my delivery date has changed from the 18th to the 19th.
Whats the big deal to verizon if customers get this in their hands 1 day early? Kind of annoying.
