DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING. Seriously. When you hit the enter key don't touch a single thing on you computer. Don't even breathe near it.
I went back to my browser was reading posts in the how to root thread.
My first attempt failed to return to c:/Droid2Root. After 10mins I woke it up and unlocked it and it showed some crazy stuff. I put it to sleep and tried to wake it again and it turned off and back on. And went to c:/Droid2Root. I did the other steps and it failed to have a # prompt it was still $
I did the whole process all over again. (Make sure you kill adb.exe from processes in task manager) Got to that point hit enter and didn't touch a thing. It took 20secs or less to get back to c:/Droid2Root and bam all the rest of it worked fine and dandy.
