Word processor for tablets that allows customized shortcuts/autocorrect?

Hi, I'm using a lenovo ideapad A10 convertible tablet to take notes and I need a good word processor. I don't mind if I have to pay, but I want more than extremely basic settings like bold, italics and center.

More specifically, I would like to be able to customize autocorrect. I can't seem to find a way to enable any sort of autocorrect when I use the external keyboard, but I need that option, at least in the context of word processing. If this can be achieved via another app that would work for the whole tablet, that'd be fine as well, but I can't seem to find it. Simply being able to tell the tablet to change things like "tmi" in "too much information" while still using the external keyboard.

One of the more advanced softwares I've seen recommended was Office Suite Pro but it doesn't have the Autocorrect options.

Ideally, I would also like for there to be actual shortcuts (nothing too advanced, but a simple Ctrl+J to justify, Ctrl+E to center or Ctrl+I to put in italics would help my work flow so much) or to have once again the possibility to customize that, but I don't really believe I'll find that kind of software, so that's not as important.

I would really appreciate any options, thanks.

You can try Text_Maker (it's actually one word, but this site sensors it for some reason). This is a 30-day full trial and will allow you to test and see if it will suit your needs. I would provide the link, but the site sensors the word so it won't work. It is in Google Play.

Unfortunately, it only has a spell checker (which underlines word in red; provided you have a dictionary). There's no autocorrect. It does have standard keyboard shortcuts. The app (if you decide that it suits your needs) is around $5.

Hmm. I've only had Samsung devices so I can't answer exactly. But as far as I can tell, the office apps seem to be designed for touchscreens in mind, and not the use of external keyboards. I've tried a lot of the popular and good ones (Polaris, QuickOffice, Docs to Go, WPS, Olive), and they all seem to have no autocorrect option, allowing the onscreen keyboard to take care of that. Samsung is able to get around this by allowing you since it has an option to hide and show the software keyboard on demand using a single button on a Samsung keyboard dock. This allows you to use the soft-keyboard's auto-correct on demand.

In your shoes, the first thing I would do is to see if the stock Lenovo keyboard has autocorrect settings, and look at Lenovo keyboards to see if they have the keyboard popup button as well.

Hmm. All right, thanks for the advice. I can't seem to find any way to make the touchscreen keyboard appear while the tablet is in keyboard mode, nor to get autocorrect with the external keyboard, though.

Update: I've just tried Text Maker, and it's really perfect. It's much lighter, and thus faster, than some other softwares I had tried (I don't have a lot of RAM and was having issues with typing being delayed on the most advanced word processors), and has all the relevant shortcuts. It's a shame I couldn't find something with customised autocorrect, but paired with an app I found called External Keyboard Helper Pro (which is a bit technical but that I definitely recommend to anyone interested who might find this thread), I was able to do a lot of tweaks and customisation and it's now comfortable enough that I don't need autocorrect as much. So I think I'm settled. Thanks again!

Just an update regarding Soft Maker Office HD. It's (what they claim) their full desktop suite for Android Tablets. Anyone owning their previous version is entitled to an upgrade pricing which was provided via email.
