Help words with friends force closing

since installing the firmware updates, words with friends keeps force closing on my prime, also, at the same time i tried to send a chat message. the game still works on my phone.. anyone else having problems? any thoughts? i've unistalled and re-installad words with friends and still no luck.
 
It worked for me for a few hours. I went to send a chat message and it force closed and I was never able to get it working again after that despite reinstalling a couple times. It works fine on my Droid Incredible, so I've been playing it there.

Interestingly enough, I noticed the version on my phone was 4.?? and the version on the Prime was 3.?? (can't remember off the top of my head what the ??'s were). I looked around trying to see if there was a newer version I could get for the Prime and I couldn't locate anything. The reviews in the market were bashing it for quite a while for problems with forced closes, and it appears the tablet version still hasn't been fixed for this yet. :-(

yeah, i am hoping the person i sent the chat to i can resign with soon and maybe that will clear it up. prefered playing on my prime over my phone.
 
I'm pretty sure you can link the account you play with on the Prime to you FB account (if you have one). You might then be able to play on FB through the browser.

Not an ideal solution, but if this works it could at least hold you over until Zynga gets around to fixing the native app (which could be a while based on my past experiences with Zynga).

there was an update a week or so ago for words with friends. the game is playable now, but i an noticing it doesn't always update the games. tablet said it was others move, but my phone had it as my move in 4 games - one for 12 hours earlier and the others from 4 hours earlier. i turn the wifi off when i am done using the tablet so it's getting reset. if i clear the cache and login again, the games appear.
