Work With T-Mobile

Does this phone only work with TMO or other carriers? If it works with others, which ones does it work with?

I may be interested in buying it.

These are the network frequencies it runs on:

2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 900 / 2100

T-Mobile's frequency aren't capable with this for data so you may be SOL.

1900 is T-Mobile's 2g network frequency. So if the phone is sim unlocked, you would get call & texting service, though your data speeds would be really slow. no 3g support though because you would need 1700/2100 or 1900 for that.

Walmart website show the phone as T-Mobile Pre-Paid LG Optimus L9 4G Smartphone. But I do not see any network frequencies it runs on.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with GSM networks but is there a chance it can run on HSPA or HSPA+?

I'm not sure if it runs on HSPA or +. I think I'll just look for a different phone to be safe.
