Help Working WiFi toggle?

akidd1216

Newbie
I have a Verizon LTE Galaxy Tab 10.1 non-rooted. Android 3.2

The interwebz have failed me in my search for answers.
There doesn't seem to be a single WiFi toggle that actually works on this device since Android 3.2. I had a toggle working prior to that.

If anyone knows a good way to toggle WiFi without having to go into settings each time that would great.

It's especially annoying when I drive near a McDonalds and the Tab auto grabs their WiFi interrupting my data until I either go into settings and disable it or open the browser to accept McDonalds terms of use.

  1. Tap on the clock in the lower right-hand corner.
  2. Tap on the Wifi symbol.
What

When I click the clock then the wifi icon it transfers me to the actual settings menu instead of acting as a toggle itself.

Since the android 3.2 update was filtered through Verizon I'm sure they did something to muddle this up a little.

Strange.
Mine works as Thorsten described.
