Help Working with Tasks?

I've recently switched from BB to Android, and have a very basic question regarding tasks/to do. In BB, the tasks simply integrate into the system Calendar app.. one could create/edit/del tasks from the Calendar app. In Android, there's a separate Tasks app, but it seems to be very user unfriendly. For example.. there is no way to re-arrange the tasks, according to status etc. Plus, every time I open the app, it opens on the oldest task.. to get to the present, I have to scroll down about 100 times. Also, there is no way to show ONLY the incomplete tasks.. I'm sure u get my point. I've tried to install some other tasks apps from app store, but they don't incorporate the already stored tasks! .. how come?

i assume ur talking about the preinstalled Task app on the SGS2? there's a bunch of great task/to do apps for android. which ones have u tried? im using gtalks, it syncs with google tasks and really works great.. nice widget, very easy to use, free..

I've installed gtalks, but it still doesn't show my already present tasks.. ones which I've already entered in the Android Tasks app.. is there any way to import them? It would seem logical for all Tasks/To Do apps to work with the Android Tasks list, instead of having to enter them all over again.
