Help Worms Armageddon black screen

Samsung galaxy s2 which I have rooted-unrooted or whatever it is.

Downloaded the game from mutiple sources. Game always shows logo then goes black screen.. No matter what I do or how long I wait it won't start.

This game is super awesome so why won't it work :?

Anyone?? I also downloaded dead-space and GTA. But these games also don't start!!

Which custom root kernel and ROM are you using?

Just the default one. I don't use custom. I am fine with the default setup and I dont wish a custom one and lose my settings.

It should work with that I think.

I downloaded tons of Tower defense games, and they worked fine.

Try flashing Jeboo or PhilZ which are both rooted and virtually stock kernels.

The thing is. I don't really want to flash anything. Since everything I want I have. Except for these games working, but they should be able to work on this don't you agree? SO something must be off.. (also dont wanna lose any settings)

You say you've tried downloading from multiple sources. Are any of them the play store? Where are you downloading them from?

The Siyah custom kernel is one of the most finely tuned kernels that there is for the SGSII and you may have tuned it further with STweaks for, say, battery optimisation. This could cause problems with certain games if you have u/c'd or u/v'd. This is why I suggested the other kernels as they are on stock settings with no developer tweaks apart from CWM Recovery. Flashing just a kernel does not change any phone applications or settings... unlike flashing a ROM. See #1.1 of the Rooting Galaxy S2 - Dummies Guide.

Update: It would seem that the problem may lie with the game itself as there are numerous posts on the web about the black screen on different devices. You can contact Team17, the developers, directly about this problem... support@team17.com
