worry about android future for java developers

hello

i am a beginner in android development . professionally i am a java developer . i like the the android very much but as a java developer i am worried about the my career future in android after listening about the oracle lawsuit against google about the missuse of the java language . android applcation development is done using the java language , if oracle wins in the court(more chances) , and google will have to stop the java language for applcation development . then what would the java developers will do.

plz write your suggestion and guide me in a good way. i will be very thank full to all of you

Oracle and Google have been sparring over Java for years. (I think the first lawsuit came out in 2007)

And I think Oracle would be quite stupid to try to keep Google from using Java in Android. Considering how big Android is now, they just want royalties. I'd bet that 60% of the people learning Java today are learning it to be Android programmers. Oracle would be foolish to shut that down.

I think Oracle does not want to remove Java from Android, what they want is more monies from Google. It will be a stupid move to remove something that is so big and reaping in big monies. They want to be part of the game and at the better receiving end of those monies and hence those lawsuits. My personal opinion.

:D

Google should legally buy license to use Oracle Java (Isn't it open for any one to use for free?) in Android. Also, legally license all relevant patents for technologies that Microsoft claims Google is using in Android.

Google, Microsoft and Oracle (a very weird marriage) should compromise and work together than fighting with each other. They all have a common enemy - Apple - who will never compromise and wants to kill all competition and innovation.
