Worth Fighting The Crowds For?

I bought the Acer A100 before returning it(thank god for no restocking fees during holidays). The screen is horrendous. On full brightness it looks average at best, viewing angles are bad.

But the problem is when it's on auto brightness, it's like looking at a hologram or dual scan monitor(for you old school laptop buffs). Text is very difficult to read and seems out of focus/holographic. Battery life sucked on it as well.

I exchanged it for the 16gb transformer, then found I could get the 32gb model for the same price and thus, I have the 32gb with a 32 microsd now. Great tablet.

I ended up getting Best Buy to price-match Microcenter for 399 for the 32g. Not 250$ but still not a bad deal. And then when the prime comes out, assuming it does before Jan 24th I can still exchange it if I feel it necessary. I love this thing, I cant wait to figure out if Im keeping it though, Id like to root it and really start playing.

Why root?

I haven't bothered. There's virtually no bloatware, everything works out of the box.
