worth rooting?

Rooting lets you use your phone to its full extent in that you can modify files you would not have access to unless rooted. Although it gives you much more customization options, it voids your warranty.

i was considering rooting but, i see no benefit.
i have at least 30 apps that i actually use. i cannot see myself needing too many more right now, an i have 95mb left!
that said, heres hoping that google makes it an update to allow app downloads to the SD card. also its said that rooting speeds the phone up. i come from windows mobile...i am very satisfied with the speed
i wouldnt mind having complete access to my phone though...
i dont know, as of now i wont be mad if its not discovered any time soon.
